Eight Investment Partners (8IP) is a specialised Australian equity investor. 8IP manages over $200m for large institutions and high net worth individuals. In February 2017 8IP pivoted to launch Australia’s first Australian Equity impact investment fund focused on investing in ASX listed companies achieving positive and measurable social and environmental impact as well as positive financial returns. 8IP is 100% owned by its executives.

Financial Return

8IP is committing to demonstrating that investing with impact can generate higher returns than the market. To demonstrate this 8IP aims to outperform the S&P/ASX All Ordinaries accumulation index over the medium to long term.

Social Return

Impact is measured on a company by company basis. The fund invests in companies delivering positive and measurable outcomes across 10 impact focus areas: Renewable energy, Energy Storage and efficiency, Land and Resource Management, Wellbeing: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Health Care, Care and Support, Affordable Housing, Education, Lifestyle and Healthy Eating.
